your choice is permanent, but it won't affect the way you use the site. we just want to keep track of how many pirates, ninjas, or robots win the poster design competitions. not only will this settle the question of whether mechanical men are superior to swashbucklers, but it'll provide for great ice breakers with other members of your group, like "man, are we ninjas good at making posters or what?" or "hey, you're a robot too! let's make out!"
